The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) offers grants for home energy upgrades. Here's a breakdown of every grant available in 2026 and how much you could save.

Heat Pump System
Grant for air-to-water or ground source heat pump installation including radiator upgrades.
Available for homes built before 2011. Must use an SEAI registered contractor. BER assessment required after works.

Solar PV Panels
Grant for solar electricity panels installation.
Available for homes built and occupied before 2021. Must use an SEAI registered contractor.

Grant for attic or rafter insulation.

Comprehensive whole-house retrofit through an SEAI registered One Stop Shop. Covers multiple measures to achieve a BER B2 or better.
Available for homes built before 2011. Must achieve a minimum BER B2 after works. Grants cover 40-50% of typical costs.
